Q: How many miles can you get out of a pair of running shoes or walking shoes?.

A: The general rule of thumb for the life of a running shoe is approximately 450 miles. We advise that walkers replace their shoes every 750 miles.

Q: How should a shoe fit?

A: First of all, forget about the size on the box. This is really only a guideline. Many running shoes are cut short by a whole or half a size, so you may end up in a size ten, even though you measure to be a 9.

Q: Where do I find out about local races?

Q: How do I keep my running or walking shoes from getting dirty?

A: The mesh on the upper of running shoes makes them much more breathable, but it also tends to get dirty pretty quickly. There is no perfect way to clean them, AND YOU DEFINITELY DON'T WANT TO WASH THEM IN THE CLOTHES WASHER AND THROW THEM IN THE DRYER!

Q: When I visit the Aardvark, where do I park?

Bethlehem is a vibrant downtown, consequently there is a premium on parking. However, we at the Aardvark want to make your visit as convenient as possible. We strongly suggest that you park in the North Street Garage. It is located very close to the Main Street Commons (where Aardvark is located) on Main Street less than a block North of Broad. We will gladly validate your parking stub if you park in either of Bethlehem's public parking garages.
